These are the last 10 cd's that are running for the Bluesforum.nl CD of the year 2009 award!

Every member gets to vote once! You have to be logged in to be able to vote!

The CD that has gathered the most votes on january 6, 2010 wins the Bluesforum.nl CD Award 2009!


The cd/band that wins the award will receive attention in the radioshows Bluezy and Bluesmoose. At this moment it is not known exactly what kind of attention, but possible are attention for your cd, likely an interview in the studio and, if possible, a live performance in the studio.

Does anyone know why people are being prevented already from voting as it is not the 6th yet? We've had e-mails from several people who are being prevented from voting because they are still waiting to be signed up (waiting quite a while actually).

Does anyone have any info about this? 

Ziggy, as you seem to be the person running this maybe you could post an answer asap to clear up this matter. Thanks.

People have to use their activation mail. There are quite a lot of accounts not activated.
Could be something with their spam filters.

I have send them a reminder, they should be able to log in.

King Mo will receive the award on january 28th in the Bluezy radioshow.

Last night Sjors (dutch for George ) Nederlof, the guitarplayer of King Mo received the 2009 Bluesforum Cd Award during a live radioshow in Ridderkerk, The Netherlands for their live album Live at La Bonbonniere. Host was Nico Bravenboer who presents this show for many years now and has thus become a blues-icon in The Netherlands. Ton Kok from Bluesforum handed over the award.
